Beginners


For many, getting started in CrossFit can be intimidating. There is a lot of unfamiliar stuff; strange acronyms, whiteboards with names and numbers, workouts that are identified by women’s names and where the heck are all the Nautilus weight machines?  There is so much that can be unfamiliar.

As a Beginner, we will address these issues and create a foundation on which to build your future fitness. It is a performance based program designed to introduce you to the fundamental movements and concepts of fitness. The emphasis for Beginner's is skill development and exposure to the elements of our program. Unlike other CrossFit gyms, Tekton's initial training will be personal and designed to prepare you to enter our ongoing CrossFit group classes. We will emphasis technique and lay a foundation that will ensure your success at the next level. This is the most successful way to get you started in CrossFit.

Our Beginning CrossFit series consists of a free assessment followed by Personal training sessions that usually last 8-12 sessions for the average person. Exceptions apply if you are experienced in CrossFit, but requires an assessment from our head trainer. To determine whether you are ready to join our group classes.
