Beginners



For many, getting started in CrossFit can be intimidating. There is a lot of unfamiliar stuff; strange acronyms, whiteboards with names and numbers, workouts that are identified by women’s names and where the heck are all the Nautilus weight machines?  There is so much that can be unfamiliar. At Tecton, we take great pride in the quality of the experience. We make it educational, safe and fun.

At Tekton, we have developed a unique Beginners Series to on-ramp athletes into the CrossFit experience. It is designed to introduce you to the fundamental movements and concepts of fitness. Our initial training is designed to prepare you to enter our ongoing CrossFit group classes. We emphasize technique and lay a foundation that will ensure your success.

A new Beginners Series starts on the first Tuesday of every month, and includes 6 classes. Check our schedule for specific times. Also included in our Beginners Series program is an additional 2 weeks or regular 3x a week WOD classes immediately following the initial 6 class Beginners Series.
